A few friends and I like to attend an adult gymnastics class on Wed nights, as often as we can. While we wish it could be every week, it usually ends up being more like every 3 weeks. However, we do have fun and get a great 2 hour workout. Especially yesterday.
Last night we decided that we just weren’t in the mood for regular gymnastics. Flips, jumps, and beams had little appeal at the time. So, we took it up a notch and created an obstacle course. Which we kept adding to. With springboards, boxes, vaults, wedges, sliders, and beams, that was a nice and different workout that had us all sweating and laughing through the first hour.
Then we found the yoga balls. You know the ones; those big bouncy balls you see in gyms that you want to just run around and play with but you believe you are too grown up to do so? Yeah… we did that. And it was a blast!
